Butterflies of hope

Happy Accident

Hi everyone, this is a card that I made the other day and almost threw away,
I spent ages colouring up this gorgeous image from "Hannah Lynn" I was almost
finished when my new Plum Promarker decided to leak all over the place Grrr
don't you just hate it when that happens...so just as I was about to throw it in
the bin my hubby suggested colouring up another butterfly and decoupaging
it over the place where my Promarker had leaked...and I think that it looks ok.
Anyway here she is....

Butterflies of Hope

Card Recipe
5x7 Card, Silver Mirri, Digi Design Paper, Purple Card, Purple Ribbon, Silver Chain,
Silver Butterfly Charms, Made With Love Charm, Pearls & Sakura Silver Gelly Roll

I coloured this image using Pro/Flexmarkers and added silver gelly roll to highlight her hair

This is a close-up of the decoupaged butterfly that's covering up the happy accident lol

I'm off to mow the lawns and give the plants some feed now so I'll say ta ta for now
and I'll catch up with you all soon.

Sprite Delight Calendar

Sprite Calendar

Hi everyone, it's the start of a brand new challenge again over at
and the Challenge theme this time is

Sprite Delight

For my DT project for this challenge I decided to make a flip calendar
using a different flower sprite to represent each of the flowers of each
month of the year.

Luckily for me Mitzi had all the flower sprites that I needed to make the calendar, well
all except for May's Lily of the Valley, so she created "Lily" for me and here she is...

January ~ Carnation Sprite

February ~ Violet Sprite

March ~ Daffodil Sprite

April ~ Daisy Sprite

May ~ Lily of the Valley Sprite

June ~ Rose Sprite

July ~ Lotus Flower Sprite

August ~ Tiger Lily Sprite

September ~ Morning Glory Sprite

October ~ Pumpkin Sprite

November ~ Dahlia Sprite

December ~ Holly Bush Sprite

To decorate the front cover of the calendar made a small flip book with Linda Ori's
 beautiful poem
Woodland Sprite

There are more details on our new challenge over at
where you will see what my talented teamies have created too and
also a list of the fab prizes you could win.

Marie Antoinette Showcase

Marie Antoinette

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well and that you are all enjoying the beautiful
weather that we've been having.
Before I share my new post I would like to apologise for the lack of posts on my blog
lately, I'm pretty sure that you will all have at some time suffered from "crafters block"
otherwise known as total lack of "Mojo" so I thought instead of trying to make
another card, I would have a go at making something a little different.

And here it is...

I made this for our Aurora Wings Showcase Blog where we are featuring a special presentation of
 Mitzi's beautiful "Marie Antoinette" Digi

To make my Aurora Wings DT sample I have used the following ~
A white Rococo frame, Papermania Capsule Collection Oyster Blush DP,
Antique style ivory lace, peach satin ribbon, Mulberry blooms and  pearl stamens
from WOC, trailing ivy die cuts, silver cameo brooch, Stardust Stickles,
Glossy Accents Sakura Gelly Roll and Liquid Pearls.

I hope that you like her
