It's Tidy At Last!!

Woohoo!! It's Tidy At Last

Hi everyone, I hope that you've all had a lovely weekend. I spent
mine sorting out my crafty area, And after almost 3 days it's finally
done. I can't believe just how much crafty stuff  I have, don't get me
wrong a girl can never have too much crafty stuff, but just where on
earth do you put it all LOL.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to decorate some old jars for my buttons,
and also to recover an A4 ring binder that I've filled with 6 x A4 2mm
thick perspex sheets to use to store some of my self cling stamps.
I tried to carry the Vintage Butterfly theme that's on the storage boxes
that I bought last year.

Here are my decorated button jars

I used 50mm Raw Edged Jute Ribbon which I then stamped with a butterfly
background stamp, White 25mm Scalloped Edged Lace, Garden Twine, Tag Die,
Kraft Card & Bronzed Birdcage Charm

And to cover the A4 Ring Binder I used Parcel Paper which I stamped using
a selection of freebie stamps that you get with card making magazines. I then coloured
some of the butterflies using my Promarkers.

And here is th A4 binder

And this is how my Craftyroom/Area looks after spending the weekend
sorting it all out......I wonder just how long it will stay tidy like this LOL

The Stamping Chef

Ombre

Hi everyone, my post today is a card that I made to give my friends daughter,
I have used TSC Cat Sixx image and thought that I would have a go at
the "Ombre Technique" I have to say that it's not quite how I would have
liked it to turn out, maybe I should have stuck with using acetate or glass mat
as a palate to blend and lift the colour instead of  trying to blend straight
onto the image.....never mind I know what to do next time don't I lol and
more importantly Libby loved it :)
The image is from The Stamping Chef TSC and is called

Cat Sixx

Card Recipe
6x6 white base card, hot pink bazzill, silver mirri, kanban aqua amore
damask, silver glitter card, hot pink lace, hot pink satin ribbon and hand tied bow,
hunkydory foiled sentiment, diamond glaze and silver guitar and
made with love charms

I coloured this fab image using a selection of pro/flexmarkers,
I then added some diamond glaze to her lips and the guitar.
In the next picture you can see the charms beneath the hand
tied bow more clearly.

Well I'm off now to play in the garden while the sun's shining.
I hope that you all have a fab day too :)

April

July?? No It's April

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all having a fabulous start to the week.
I spent yesterday sorting out all my Digi Images....I knew that I had
quite a few but I really got quite a shock as to just how many I do have.
Well while I was sorting them I came across some old favourites that
I'd forgot about, so I printed some of them out ready to colour up.
So my post today is a card that I made last night using one of my
Hannah Lynn images and this one's called "APRIL" and you can find her

Card Recipe
6x6 white base card, black card, silver miri, kanban aqua amore damask,
papermaina design paper, aqua satin ribbon & black gems.

I used a selection of pro/flexmarkers to colour this gorgeous image, then added
glossy accents to her eyes, lips & the leather straps on her arms which hopefully
you can see more clearly in the next picture.I also added a little crystal stickles.

I hope that you like her as much as me, I had so much fun making her :)

Aurora Wings Challenge # 17 Anything With Wings

Aurora Wings Challenge #17

Hi everyone, It's time once again for a new challenge to begin over at
the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog and this time the challenge theme is....

Anything With Wings

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself making my very first Door Hanger as my
Aurora Wings DT sample for the challenge, and here it is.....

Card Recipe
Plywood Door Danger (made by Hubby) Watercolour Card & Tumble Glass
Distress Ink to create the sky/cloud background effect.

I then coloured up this gorgeous Aurora Wings image which is called
"Angel of Sympathy" and you can find her HERE I used Pro/Flexmarkers
to colour her up. I coloured her up three times and then decoupaged her to
create a little bit of added dimension, which I hope that you can see in the next picture.

I also added some Diamond Stickles to her wings too. The Mulberry Lilies, Roses,
Rosebuds, Ivory Pearl Stamens & Leaves are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The Angel Wings Charms & Silver Chain which can be seen in the next picture
 are from my stash.

This is the Plywood Door Hanger my lovely Hubby made for me, before
I primed it with some Undercoat and then when died I used some PVA
which I thinned down to use as a sealant.

Ladybird Sprite/Noor Designs DT Call

Aurora Wings New Image Launch & Noor Designs DT Call

Hi everyone, my post today is for the exciting launch of one of TWO brand new
images from Aurora Wings....The image that I've used for my card is called

"Ladybird Sprite"

When I first saw this super cute little image I was so excited, I felt just like a kid
in a sweet shop.....I absolutely love Ladybirds

Card Recipe
6x6 white base card, green bazzill, black card, red bazzill, green garden twine, glossy accents,
ladybird embellishments and the embossing folder is petite dots from embossalicious.

I also used the super cut Noor Design ladybird border die from Joycrafts

To colour Mitzi's latest image I used a selection of Pro/Flexmarker alcohol pens
I then added some glossy accents to the ladybird sprites wings and hat.

I inked up the petite dots embossing folder before running it through my
sizzix and then tied the garden twine around it.
For more information on Mitzi's gorgeously cute newest images and to also
see more fab samples from both the Aurora Wings Showcase DT and also
the Aurora Wings DT just pop over to the  Aurora Wings Showcase Blog

This card was made using the super cute Noor Designs
Ladybird Border die from Joycrafts which I absolutely love. I've loved using
Noor Design dies and embellishments for a long time now and have
wanted the chance to join their amazing UK Design Team but just never
quite had the courage until now, when a lovely crafty friend of mine said that
"you really should try, what have you got to lose" and I thought yes, she's right,
what have I got to lose, as my grandma would often say
"A shy bairn gets no broth" lol
I've been on several design teams now and have had lots of my work published in various crafting and digital crafting magazines (I've even been lucky enough to have several pieces of my work make front covers too) I am a designer for Mitzi's Aurora Wings DT
and you can see lots of my creations on Pinterest and in various groups on facebook too.
I really would love the opportunity to be a DT member with Noor Designs UK so fingers
crossed that I'm lucky enough to be picked during this Noor Designs DT Call
and good luck to all the other lovely talented crafters out there who are applying too :)

Hi everyone, I hope that you've all been enjoying this lovely weather that
we've been having these past two weeks, Summer is definitely here isn't it.

night have been spectacular here on the north east coast. I absolutely love

Dark Olive Green Core'dinations Card
Design Papers from Santoro's Gorjuss
LOTV Topper which I added Glossy Accents and Distress Ink

Anna Griffin Embossing Folder, Spellbinders Die, Silver Mirri, Red Pearl
Charm & Hand Tied Bow
