One For The Boys

One For The Boys

Hi everyone, I hope that you've all been enjoying this lovely weather that
we've been having these past two weeks, Summer is definitely here isn't it.
We've had some glorious sunshine during the day but WOW the storms at
night have been spectacular here on the north east coast. I absolutely love
thunder storms, I also love the rough and angry sea too and often head on
down to the beach to watch the storms there because you can see for miles.
Well onto today's post which is a card that I made at the weekend, I don't
make nearly enough cards for the menfolk so I thought I would make one
for a change, we can't have the menfolk left out now can we lol.

Card Recipe
Black Textured Card cut down to make a 6"x 6" card base.
Dark Olive Green Core'dinations Card
Design Papers from Santoro's Gorjuss
LOTV Topper which I added Glossy Accents and Distress Ink
Silver Mirri & Black Gems
Happy Birthday Stamp & Slipper Stamp

I hope that you like it :)

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well and enjoying this beautiful weather.
It's been glorious here on the North East coast today :) what a difference
to yesterday. I went for a walk along the sea front but after only walking
for about an hour the storm clouds started rolling in as you can see in this
quick photo I took on my way back home.

Anyway once I got back home I sat down to have a play with this adorable little
image from Mitzi Sato-Wiuff.
This cutie is called "Kitsune" and you can find her HERE

To make this card I used Black Card, Red Pearlised Card, Black Satin Ribbon,
Anna Griffin Embossing Folder, Spellbinders Die, Silver Mirri, Red Pearl
Charm & Hand Tied Bow

To colour gorgeous Kitsune I used a selection of my Pro/Flexmarkers
I hope that you like her :)

Owl Spirit Release

Owl Spirit Release

Hi everyone, my post today is a card that I made for the brand new
Owl Spirit image that's now being showcased at the
When we were first shown this gorgeous image, well lets just say
I just couldn't resist having a little play with it. I tried to create a Grecian
style card having once read about "Athena" and how she would take the form
of an owl.

Card Recipe
6x6 card, aqua bazzill card, marianne anja die, design paper from my stash, gold mirri,
pale aqua bazzill, corner die, aqua organza ribbon, anna griffin embossing folder,
gold owl charm & aqua pearls.

I coloured her up using a selection of pro/flexmarkers and I added liquid pearls and
glossy accents

to create the background I used a selection of pro/flexmarkers and blender solution.

I hope that you like her.

Hi everyone, just a quick post from me today before I head off
out for the day. I made this card using "Butterflies" from Polkadoodles
Eden Collection. This is the first time that I've coloured up a
Polkadoodles image but I will most definitely be getting more of them,
they're gorgeous.

Card Recipe

on the butterflies wings too.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend, we have storm force winds at the
moment here in the north east which are quite scary :(  so if you're out and
about please take care.

Little Lori

Hi everyone, have you all been enjoying the lovely sunshine that we've
been having? It's been glorious here and so I've been catching up on some
of my jobs that needed doing in the garden, all the planters are now planted
up with begonias, Geranium's and Night Scented Stock, and the hanging
baskets are done and the borders are all done now :)
Did you all have a fabulous Bank Holiday Weekend, I spent some time crafting,
and finally got to colour up this gorgeous little image from Mitzi. Some time ago
now Mitzi and I were chatting about our love of kitties, I happened to mention
a time when I was little when I carried three kittens home to ask my Mum
if I could keep them lol. Anyway to cut a long story short Mitzi created.......

Little Kitty

Little Kitty

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all having a lovely start to your week. The
weather here on the North East coast is glorious, I just love it when the sun is
shining and the little birdies are singing their little hearts out :) Speaking of
little birdies, we had a lovely (not so little) visitor the other night....while having
a late dinner/supper we heard hooting, we went outside into the garden and
low and behold sitting perched upon the telegraph pole at the bottom of our
garden was a Tawny Owl, I tried to take some photographs but unfortunately
the camera on my iphone isn't good enough for night time pictures :( but I did
manage to record the little fella hooting :)

The card I would like to share with you today is one that I made a few days ago,
it's another pocket card and pillow box made using some of the beautiful papers
from Craft and You Design this particular paper is designed by Zaneta Nawrat and
is called Vintage Time 3

Card Recipe
2 cream 6x6 cards, Craft and You Design Paper, White Lace, Pink Hand Tied Bow made with
Pink Silk Ribbon, Spellbinders Oval Die, Tassle and Ivory Pearls & Rosebuds from WOC

I really struggled with the little bow here on the pillow box and this was my third
attempt, I was all fingers and thumbs because the ribbon is 50mm wide and
the bow I needed was so tiny lol

This is the inside tag with the pretty tassel, I wanted to show you all just
how beautiful these papers are. I will most definitely be buying more of
them soon

And this is the reverse of the tag with a die cut panel

I hope that you like it :)
I will be blogging again within the next day or two with some lovely candy
