My Little Helper....

Fudge....

Hello everyone, I'm sorry that I've not been around blogland these past few days, I finally had to say my goodbyes to my little cat Fudge on Saturday morning, she has been poorly for a few weeks now and after her recent visit to the vet we thought that she was starting to get better....but in the early hours of Saturday morning she became poorly again and we knew that this time when we took her to the vets that this was going to be the last time and to say we're heartbroken doesn't really begin to describe how we feel :(  When we first collected Fudge from the family who no longer wanted her or her brother she was called Tiger and was already a fully grown cat so we never really knew her true age but she was part of our family for almost 19 wonderful and very happy years and we re-named her Fudge which we think described her perfectly Soft and very Sweet and because we didn't think Tiger suited her at all.

This card is the last one that both Fudge and I made on Friday night as a joint effort, she was sitting on my knee the whole of the time that I was making it, well sometimes she would jump upon my desk to help me to decide which papers or embellishments to use. So I think it only fair that I dedicate this card to my beautiful little cat Fudge...Miss You baby :(

RECIPE

6x6 scalloped card, Core'dinations, Fizzy Moon DP, pink organza ribbon, flower sequins, pearls, silver seashell charm, liquid pearls, glossy accents, and silver mirri.

The beautiful mermaid  image is "Corrine" from Hannah Lynn and I've coloured her using Spectrum Noir, also I've added glossy accents to her eyes, lips, flower and tail, and I've also added liquid pearls around the image to represent bubbles.

I hope that you like her.

Moon Glow

Beautiful Moon Glow....

Hi everyone, this is just a quick post from me before I cook a dinner for the menfolk (my hubby & son) then try to catch up on all the jobs that have fallen by the wayside while my little kitty's been poorly.

This is a card that I made last night in the wee hours when everyone else was sound asleep, I coloured up a Hannah Lynn digi that I've just bought and I have to say I absolutely LOVE these stamps, they're GORGEOUS and I know that this will be the first of many.

To make this card I've used the following :-

white 6x6 scalloped card, core'dinations, centura pearl, 6x6 design paper's from Lucy Cromwell stack
organza ribbon, silver mirri, glossy accents, large & small AB crystal gems and heart gem charm.

I've coloured this gorgeous Hannah Lynn "Moon Glow" image using my Promarkers and Flexmarkers and I then added some glossy accents to her eyes, lips and belt for a little extra definition.

This is a close up of the beautiful flittered Lucy Cromwell design paper's which I think are stunning and the small amethyst coloured heart charm.

I hope that you like her.

Diary of an Edwardian Lady/ Nature's Notes Sneaky Peek #1

Diary of an Edwardian Lady/Nature's Notes Sneaky Peek '#1

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry that I've not been around blog land recently but I've been nursing my very poorly little cat Fudge, we took her to the vets a few days ago after she'd been really poorly through the night and the vet gave her an injection of antibiotics for a water infection but they're not too concerned about that, they're more worried about her fast heartbeat and have diagnosed Hyperthyroidism and Altzheimers :( you see she's a very, very old lady now of 18 (not quite sure what that is in cat years but I'm guessing it's a lot).
Anyway to cut a long story short my little kitty is finally starting to get better, she's still poorly but is a lot better than she was, we really, really thought that we were going to lose her :( but she's a lot better than she was and just needs lots and lots of squidgy cuddles.

Now onto some better news, It's time for a sneaky peek of our new launch from Crafters Companion, And it's "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady/Natures Notes" and this is my DT card.

To make this card I've used the following :-

white 8x8 scalloped card which I embossed with Chantilly Frame Embossalicious Folder and then glittered and added liquid pearls, Core'dinations, silver mirri, design papers and topper are from the soon to be launched "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady & Natures Notes " CD Rom, white satin ribbon, red mulberry roses, silver toadstool charm, large pearl, and flower made from Die'sire quilling die, and almost forgot to mention the glossy accents I added to the berries on the topper for a little extra dimension.

I hope that you like it and will be tuning in to Create and Craft on Monday 20th May for this beautiful new 4 Day Deal from Crafters Companion
