I coloured her with a selection of pro/flexmarkers, windsor & newton

Lavender's Blue....

Lavender's Blue...

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well, I've been making the most of the
lovely weather that we've been having these past few days and have started
going on my walks again. Today's walk took me along the
Castle Eden Walkway which is just 5 minutes away from where I live, I'm
so lucky to have the choice of  walking in woodland or walking along the
beach aren't I. I was hoping to find frog spawn at the pond but maybe it's a
little early yet after all Spring was rather late coming this year.

Anyhow, when I got back from my walk yesterday I spent some time crafting,
and I have made this card using one of my new images from

The Paper Shelter

The image I've used is called

The Music Practice

Card Recipe
Hunkydory Adorable Scorable, Papermania Capsule French Lavender design papers,
Gingham Ribbon and hand tied bow, Treble Clef charm, Creative Expressions
*String Flowers* die, Joy Crafts Noor Design Border die, Whimsy Tag die and
2mm, 4mm & 6mm Flatbacked pearls

I coloured this gorgeous *The Paper Shelter* image using a selection of Pro/Flexmarkers.

This piece of music paper was in my Mums stash and I just colourised it with
Satin Promarker and a Blender Pen

This is a close up of the beautiful design papers and the Treble Clef Charm.

The sentiment was printed out on word, I them colourised it with the Satin Promarker
& Blender pen. next I cut it out using the Whimsy die, then I cut some of the Adorable
Scorable and offset the sentiment to create a frame.

Now these beautiful blooms were made using my newest die which I bought
from Hochanda, having watched the lovely Lisa Horton demoing them, they're
from Creative Expressions and the dies called String Flowers....I absolutely
LOVE them!!

Well that's all from me for the time being.
Have a fab day everyone.

Finally Finished It....

Finally Finished It....

Hi everyone, I'm so pleased to say that I've finally finished decorating and
up-doing the bedroom furniture *breathes sigh of relief*
It's taken me so long to get everything done because I've had to do it
in stages, but at least it's done now and I'm so happy with the way it
looks now.
As those of you who follow me will know, it all started whilst I was still
on the Aurora Wings DT and I coloured some images and I decided to
frame them to hang in our bedroom, so that's what I did I bought some Baroque
frames and painted them with Earl Grey Everlong chalk paint, I then mounted
the images onto some A3 Centura Pearl, mount board and added the title of
each of the images.

I coloured the images with a selection of Pro/Flexarkers and I then added
some Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll to add some sparkle.

This are all four finished pictures all ready to hang.

We then decided (that's the royal we by the way lol) to decorate the bedroom.

The bear that you see peeking out between the scatter cushions is my
teddy bear Marmaduke, who I've had since I was a baby... I think that
he's ageing better than me lol :)

These glass jars started out as believe it or now coffee jars lol, I covered them with
2.5 inch guipure lace and added some ribbon and a bow.

And last but not least this is the Jewellery box that I made as a DT make for
Aurora Wings.

Well I hope you weren't to bored with all my pictures lol

What Fabulous News...

My Fabulous News

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well and are able to enjoy the same
beautiful weather that we are having here on the north east coast. I've just
arrived back home after having a lovely walk along the beach.

I haven't got a card to share with you all today but I do have some fabulous
news, I am now proud to say that I'm a DT member for
I can't begin to tell you how excited I am and I can't wait to get to know
all my new Teamies.

Last night I printed off this gorgeous image called  She's Charming and
I coloured her up using a selection of Pro/Flexmarkers.

I'm now off to spend some time in the garden and hopefully a little later
I will pop this gorgeous girl onto a card.

I'll be back again tomorrow with an update on the pictures that I made
for the bedroom which is now finished and as promised I have taken

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well...Wow where on earth has this
past week gone? it's just flown by so quickly, sort of like blink and you
miss it lol. The weather here has been blooming Arctic these last few days
but fortunately we've managed to sort out the fence and a few other
garden jobs that needed doing before the weather turned Wintery, who
would have thought that we would be having snow, hail and icy winds
after having such glorious weather only 5 days ago.
Anyhoo I would like to share with you a Cris Cross card that I made a couple
of days ago using some of the breathtakingly beautiful Craft and You
"Vintage Time" papers

Card Recipe
2 x Cream 6x6 Cards, Craft and You "Vintage Time" Design Papers
Spellbinders die White Lace, Pink Silk Ribbon, Pearl trim,
White Tassel and Topper from my stash &
Pink Mulberry Rosebuds from WOC

This is the reverse side of the Tag

Well I'd better get going, I'm off out shopping and I've got a mountain
of ironing that's waiting for me when I get back home and sadly it won't
do itself will it lol. Have a lovely day everyone.

New Beginnings.....

New Beginnings

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well. We've had beautiful weather these
past few days, which really helps to lift the spirit doesn't it.
Well after a rather eventful weekend, those of you who know me will already
have heard that I've now sadly left the Aurora Wings Design Team. I've been with
Mitzi and the team right from the very beginning almost 3 years ago now, but
after a lot of soul searching I've now decided it's time that I moved on
to pastures new.

So I am so excited and pleased to announce that I am now going to be working
alongside the lovely talented Petal-lu  Design Team ladies, some of whom
I have been lucky enough to have of worked with before,I'm so looking forward to
working with Lu's beautiful blooms which are all handmade by Lu herself.
I will also be making some samples for the lovely Lisa of That Craft Place too.

Anyhoo the card that I have for you today is one that I made at the weekend,
and I thought that this beautiful Angel by Molly Harrison Art was just the perfect
card to make for for my "New Beginning" and as the saying goes
"Every end is a new beginning"

Card Recipe
Mink coloured Bazzill, Gold Satin Mirri, First Edition Design Papers, White Stitched Organza
and Satin Ribbon which I colourised with Promarker to match the colours used on the Angel
image, Hand Tied Double Bow, Pale Blue Pearls, Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll and Glossy
Accents.

I coloured this beautiful image 2x using the following Pro/Flexmarkers
Skin - Coral, Dusky Pink, Blush & Almond
Hair - Satin, March Hare, Tawny Owl & Shale
Angels Dress and Wings - Ivory, Satin & March Hare
I then fussy cut the image to raise her to help create more depth to the card.

I then added the Glossy Accents and the Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll to add extra depth,
dimension and a little bit of sparkle.

I made the "New Beginnings...." sentiment myself in word and just matted it up onto
some of the Gold Satin Mirri, I then curled the sentiment before adding to the card.

I hope that you like her.

Aurora Wings Challenge #27

Aurora Wings Challenge #27

Hi everyone, my post today will sadly be my very last DT make for
Aurora Wings  challenge Blog...but I will be making an announcement
over the next few days....that is if I can manage to quell the excitement
and keep myself from spilling the beans LOL
Anyhow here's my AW DT make for the new Aurora Wings Challenge
which begins today and the theme this time is....

Say it with Flowers

I chose Lily of the Valley Sprite for my card because
they are my favourite flowers.

To make this card I have used the following
2 x White 7x7 cards, Green Core'dinations, Cream Core'dinations,
Galeria design Papers, Spellbinders Die, Lasercut Flourish & Hip Roses
(from WOC) White Satin Ribbon, Joy Crafts Butterfly Die,
White Rose Trim & Ivory Pearls

I hand coloured the White Ribbon to match it to the Die cut frame.

I coloured the image with a selection of Pro/Flexmarkers.

I used the WOC White Mulberry Hip Roses to create a sprig of
Lily of the Valley blooms.
