Hi everyone,

Just a very quick little blog from me today. This is a card that I made last night and I thought I should maybe make something for the fella's which is not something I do very often hence my heading "And Now For Something Different"

To make this card I've used the following :-

Bathtime Bliss....

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend....  I spent my weekend tidying my craft area and tried (unsuccessfully) to sort my crafting supply's into things to keep and that I'll use and things to get rid of that I'll probably never use, but as you all know it's nearly an impossible task for us crafter's to do, I even tried telling myself that I wasn't just getting rid of things but making room for all the lovely goodies that santa will be bringing on christmas morning but it was no use I've just ended up moving things around again, I think maybe next Christmas I will ask santa if I'm especially good (fingers & toes crossed) if he could bring me a lovely big shiny new craftroom lol.

This is a card that I made yesterday after I'd finished having my sort out....

To make this card I have used the following
6x6 scalloped white card, bazzill basics, Papermania 6x6 designstax by Lucy Cromwell papers, lilac organza ribbon, white machine cut frame, mulberry pape blooms and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts

large flatbacked lilac pearls from Martha Stewart Crafts, small flatbacked lilac pearls from my stash, glamour dust, liquid pearls, stardust stickles, handmade lilac beaded charm, silver heart charm, a fimo heart that I made and last but not least the gorgeous little Forever Friends Topper.

I hope you like my card

I'm now off to do some last minute Christmas shopping and I'll catch you all later.

Hi everyone, I'm sorry I've not blogged as much as I should have lately, I've been ever so busy these last couple of weeks with christmas cards, calendar's & christmas decorations, and well you all know how hard it is trying to fit everything in. I really could do with a little help from Santa's helpers if he can spare a few lol

These sweet little Gingerbread Tree Decorations were made using tan coloured felt, Black 4mm Glass Beads, Wooden Hearts, 10mm Black tartan Ribbon, Cream Anchor Embroidery Thread and they were filled with Flame Retardent Toy Stuffing. Oh and I almost forgot Silver Elasticated Thread to hang them.

anyway I'm off to try and get the last batch of these little fella's made up and to make some more christmas cards oh and crackers  I almost forgot the them , I hope you are all having fun and are managing to keep ahead of the game so's to speak.

Remembrance

Good morning everyone, This fortnights challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog where the theme is remembrance day using reds.

To make my card I have used a black A5 card for my base, red bazzill basics, gold satin miri, black satin ribbon, red card candy and Tim Holtz distress ink all of which can be found at That Craft Place the papers I have used were freebies from inside a magazine and I have just aged them with the Tim Holtz distress ink, the poppy decoupage was also a freebie from the same craft magazine and I aged that too to help take away the starkness of the white background.

I'm off to go try and catch up on a few Christmas cards and try out a couple of new stamps that arrived yesterday.

Butterfly Baby

Hi everyone, I've finally been able to sit an get down to some crafting woohoo (does a little happy dance) after a busy week trying to get the house ready for christmas, so after a few licks of paint here and there and all of my kitchen cupboards emptied, cleaned and all put back (well almost everything apart for the clutter that  I seem to have collected over this past year lol) I have managed to make a couple of cards.

This card was made using the gorgeously cute Saturated Canary Digi Stamp called Butterfly Baby
the design papers I've used are Heltz Cuppleditch Neighbourwood 6x6 papers which are scrummy and flittered ( I just love them ). I've also used Bazzill Basics, Silver Mirri, 6x6 White Scalloped Card, Guipure Lace, Aqua Satin Ribbon, Handmade Pink Flower, Die cut Button, Flatbacked Pearls, Ranger Glossy Accents.

To colour this little cutie I have used Promarkers and Flexmarkers and I've also added a little Ranger Glossy Accents to this little cuties eyes and lips which hopefully you can just about see in this picture below (I really do hope Santa Claus is going to be kind to me this year and bring me a lovely shiny new camera lol)

And this next picture is a close up of the stunning flittered butterfly papers from Heltz Cuppleditch's Neighbourwood collection

Oops silly me I forgot to mention that I've also used Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and distressing tool to help soften the edges of the topper and take away some of the starkness of the white Neenah  Solar White Card that the butterfly baby's image was stamped on.

Oh well time for me to go and try and get creative in the kitchen (cooking just isn't my thing lol) and go rustle up something for tea for my very very patient OH and son.

It is always lovely to read your comments and to hear what you think about my cards and other crafty things, also if you have any questions just pop them in the comments box and I'll try to answer all

hi everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend, I had a fab time yesterday at the GNPE Harrogate and came home with loads and loads of crafting goodies (I also came home penniless too lol) and I'm still trying to find somewhere to put it all :o)

Today's card is one that I made for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, she's a Digi Stamp from Saturated Canary and she's called Boobie Love and I think she's fab.

To make this card I've used:- a white 6x6 scalloped card, bazzill basics, papers from dovecraft princess fairytale, silver mirri, pink grosgrain ribbon, a pink handmade flower, a white heart embellishment that I made a few days ago, a silver filigree corner from WOC, some pearls, glossy accents and some ranger stickles.

To colour Boobie Love I have used my promarkers and flex markers and I've also added a little glossy accents to her eyes, lips and nail polish.

This is a close up of the ribbon detail and the white heart embellishment that I made a few days ago

Well I really do need to get busy and start to put all my lovely new crafty things away and then maybe I will be able to see my craft desk ;o) lol

white on white

White on White

Hi everyone,
hope you have all had a lovely weekend, well I have been having fun creating my own cameo embellishments from some moulds that I borrowed from my mum and I tried air dry clay but wasn't too impressed with the results that I got so I then tried Fimo which was a lot better, you will see some of the results at the end of my blog and maybe you could let me know what you think of them.

Now for my card, to make this card I have used a white 6x6 scalloped card, silver mirri, white damask print digi paper, a white spellbinders poinsettia I made , white machine cut flourish frame which I added white flatbacked pearls of various sizes and some white ranger liquid pearls for the smaller pearls, white organza ribbon and pearl brad all of which can be found over at that craft place as can the gorgeous Magnolia Tilda Stamp, the white angel cameo |I made using white glitter fimo and the sentiment was one that i was given from one of my crafty friends.

This picture I've tried to show the flourish frame with the pearls and liquid pearls oh and the spellbinders poinsettia (I really need a better camera, maybe santa claus will bring me one if I'm a good girl lol)

And this is a close up of the angel cameo embellishment  that I made using the white glitter fimo.

I've coloured the image of Magnolia Tilda using my promarkers and flexmarkers and I've also added some Hunkydory Glitter to make her dress sparkle.

And as promised here's a few of the cameo embellishments that I made, I had loads of fun making these and I'm now waiting for Mr Postie to bring me another batch of fimo clays and moulds so that I can play some more. I would love to hear from you so please pop a comment in the comment box to let me know what you think.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges :-
