It's A Boy....

It's A Boy....

Hi everyone, I'm still under strict supervision by my hubby and son they must be finding looking after me a nightmare because I'm really not a very good patient at all, I'm just not used to having to sit around and "take things easy" like this but I suppose that it's for my own good isn't it. I just wish that the sun were shining and then I could maybe sit in the garden for a while. Never mind I should stop feeling so sorry for myself and just be thankful that I'm on the mend and feeling better by the day.

Today's post is a card that I made using the cute little baby embellishments that I made the other day using the Martha Stewart clay, only this time the card is for a baby boy.

Card Recipe

6x6 white scalloped card, Core'dinations, blue polka dot design paper, silver mirri, white satin paper, Martha Stewart border punch, blue satin ribbon, blue pearls, silver teddy bear charm and the white baby boy embellishments I made,

This is a close up of the little baby boy embellishments using the White Martha Stewart Crafters Clay.

I hope that you like it.

Baby Girl...

It's A Girl...

Hi everyone, today's post is baby girl card that I made today using some of the cute baby embellishments that I made yesterday using Martha Stewart's Crafters Clay, I have to say that It's not at all like polymer clay's like Fimo or Peabo which I tend to use, but after getting used to the unusual texture which is a lot like marshmallow I'm quite impressed with the results.

Card Recipe
6x6 white card, Core'dinations, silver mirri, gingham DP  from stash, white lightweight card, Martha Stewart Crafters Clay, pink silk ribbon, pearls & silver teddy bear charm

close up of the baby embellishments I made using the Martha Stewart Clay and a silicon mould

And this is a close up of the cute little silver teddy bear charm

I really hope that you like it.

Getting Better By The Day....

Getting Better By The Day....

Hello everyone, I hope that you all had a lovely weekend, I'm just so pleased to be home after my short stay in hospital after what was thought to have been a heart attack but which thankfully wasn't, and after lots of tests, needles, and ultrasound and X ray its seems that I had just had rather a bad episode of my Atrial Fibrillation brought on by the stress and anxiety of the last few weeks ( I was so scared ). But thankfully I'm  home now and I would really like to say a huge thank you to my well wishers for your lovely messages.

And yesterday I finally got the chance to have a sit at my little craft desk and have a play...and here's what I made.

Recipe
6x6 card, coredinations, DP, sentiment and topper are Mulberry Wood from the Crafters Companion CD Rom Freebie from the new Inspiration magazine, silver mirri, organza ribbon, jute ribbon, stardust stickles, pearls, one of my handmade white heart embellishments and my handmade flower

I hope that you like it.

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all enjoying this fabulous sunshine, I've not had very much time today for crafting because I've been making the most of this gorgeous weather we've been having and have been spending some time on my other love Gardening. I did however manage to add this fabulous Moxie Girl image that I coloured up last night to a card today.

Card Recipe

6x6 card, First Edition Papers, Core'dinations, Gold Mirri, Peach Grosgrain Ribbon, Mulberry Paper roses, rosebuds and blooms, Flat back pearls, Glossy Accents, Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles and Butterflies that I've punched out of co-ordinating papers.

This is a close up of the beautiful First Edition Papers which  are flittered and I just love them.

Hope that you like her.
