Punch of Colour

Punch of Colour

Hi everyone, before I share my latest make with you all today, I would
just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has sent messages of
support over these last few weeks, they really helped to lift my spirits and
remind me of just how lucky I am to have so many wonderful and thoughtful
friends and you mean the world to me.

Well the weather has been lovely here these past few days so I've been
spending some time in the garden. Sadly, nothings started to bloom as yet
(only the pansies) but fingers crossed that over the next few weeks, the
gardens will be full of colourful blooms.

Anyhoo onto a card that I made using another of my Hannah Lynn
"Punch of Colour Girls" images. I coloured this one up a few days ago
using a selection of Pro/Flexmarkers.

I used the following to make this card

First Edition Design Papers, Marianne Corner Die, Die Namics Circle Dies,
Tonic NUVO Glitter Drops & Glossy Drops and Ranger Glossy Accents.

I used Promarker & Flexmarkers in the following colours

Cool Grey 1, 2, 4 & 5
Soft Aqua, Cool Aqua, Oasis & Frosted Jade
I then added some Sakura Gelly Roll to highlight and also
some Glossy Accents on the lenses of her Spectacles

I'm off now to mow the lawns and I'll be back again soon,
have a fab week everyone :)

Flower Power Challenge TPS #251

The Paper Shelter Challenge #251

Hi everyone, It's time for a new challenge over at

The Paper Shelter

and this time the challenge theme is

Flower Power

So here's my DT make for the Challenge, I thought that because it's
the 1st of June and the time of Summer Weddings that I would make
a card for the bride to be. The beautiful Paper Shelter image I've used
is called "The Bride" and you can find her HERE!!  I've also used one
of The Paper Shelter's gorgeous digi design papers too and this set of
papers is called " The Happy Couple" and you can find them

When I made this card I wanted to make it in a sepia tone, so I printed
both the beautiful image (I know, I've cheated a bit with this card lol) and
the design paper in a sepia tone. I then used some oyster coloured from
Hunkydory and a Joy Craft Anja Die and Die  Namics Pierced Circle die
to frame the card and image.

The beautiful blooms are mostly from Petal-Lu with the exception of
the rose and rosebuds which are from WOC.

And last but not least is the Oyster coloured silk ribbon, hand tied bow
and the Ivory pearls, oh and not forgetting some NUVO glitter drops
which were added to the blooms and around the image.
